Digital Marketing Specialist
- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in organic SEO, keyword and competitor analysis, digital advertising, and performance tracking tools like Google Search Console, SEMRUSH or similar. This role will be instrumental in scaling Morweb’s online presence, generating leads, and driving engagement with our target audiences. A key component of this role will also be creating consistent, high-quality blog content to enhance SEO efforts and engage our audience.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrganic SEO Expertise
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search rankings, website traffic, and conversions.
- Conduct keyword analysis to identify high-value terms and optimize website content accordingly.
- Perform detailed competitor analysis to benchmark performance and uncover new opportunities.
- Utilize Google Search Console to monitor website health, resolve indexing issues, and track performance metrics.
- Ensure all on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices are followed.
Digital Advertising Mastery
- Create, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media platforms like Facebook Ads.
- Use Google Tag Manager to implement and track custom tags for conversion events and user behavior insights.
- Conduct A/B testing, retargeting, and audience segmentation to enhance ad performance and ROI.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to meet KPIs.
Blog Content Creation
- Write and publish consistent, high-quality blog posts that align with our target audience's needs and business goals.
- Optimize blog content for SEO, including the use of keywords, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Generate blog topics based on keyword research, audience insights, and trending industry themes.
- Collaborate with the design team to include visuals and multimedia elements in blog posts.
Content and Campaign Strategy
- Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns tailored to target audiences.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create engaging landing pages, ad assets, and social media posts.
- Manage social media platforms, including developing content calendars and implementing growth strategies.
Analytics and Reporting
- Use advanced analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to monitor traffic, campaign performance, and user behavior.
- Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic growth, conversions, lead quality, and ad ROI.
- Generate actionable insights from data to optimize ongoing marketing efforts.
Innovation and Market Research
- Stay updated on industry trends, introducing new techniques to improve digital marketing outcomes.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor benchmarking to refine marketing strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on organic SEO, keyword analysis, and paid advertising.
- SaaS Knowledge: Experience in SaaS marketing or similar industries is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, and advertising platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
- SEO Expertise: Demonstrated success in optimizing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO elements.
- Advertising Skills: Proven ability to create and manage high-performing PPC campaigns across search and social platforms.
- Content Creation: Strong writing skills with experience creating engaging blog content optimized for SEO.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies for maximum performance.
- Creativity: Strategic thinker with innovative ideas for campaign growth and audience engagement.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,483.57-$90,385.88 per year
